This tutorial is mainly aimed at those who are new to simulation modeling and Plant Simulation, the content therefore is intended to be brief, and yet sufficiently comprehensive to get started using Plant Simulation. If you have not already done so, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the Plant Simulation user interface, the Class Library and the Objects in the Toolbox.
Theme
The theme of the tutorial model is a testing line for TVs and VCRs. You will first create
a testing station before inserting two stations in the main line. TV and VCRs
will enter the processing line, will be put in containers and moved across a line to
pre-testing, prior to main testing before packing and exiting the model.
Note
To create the entire model should not take a great deal of time. You
can, however, save models and return to them at a later stage.
Similarly, if you do not want to start at the beginning of the
tutorial, you can start at the beginning of any section.
